Estefania Puricelli

Founder and CEO

Estefania Puricelli has dedicated her career to advancing the understanding of agricultural production, new technologies, commodity markets, policy impacts, sustainable commodities and regenerative practices. Ms. Puricelli brings extensive experience in Latin America, Europe, and the United States, having worked in the private sector, academia, non-governmental organizations, and intergovernmental organizations. She is an agricultural economist with a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from SOAS, University of London, and dual bachelor's degrees in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, and Economics from Buenos Aires University. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is a native of Argentina and resides in Washington, D.C.

Maia Colodenco

International finance expert

Formerly State Secretary for International & Economic and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Economy of Argentina, Maia led the representation of the Ministry of Economy at the G20, as Finance Deputy. She is a professional with more than fifteen years of experience in the field of international finance, multilateral institutions, climate finance and sustainable development. She worked at the World Bank and at the Interamerican Development Bank in different capacities. Maia is an economist and holds a master’s degree in international studies from Torcuato Di Tella University.

Nelson Illescas

He has authored articles and papers for both national and international publications on topics related to agro-industrial trade, negotiations, dispute resolution, sustainable development, food security, among others. He is a professor at the Universidad Austral (Legal Framework of Agribusiness), the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (International Trade), and the Universidad de Tres de Febrero (Geographical Indications). He is a Consulting Member of the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI), a member of the Forum of Lawyers for International Trade of Argentina (FACIA), and the President of the Environment and Energy Commission of ICC Argentina. Finally, he is serving as Observer for the private sector at Climate Investment Fund (CIF). He holds a degree in Law (UNLP), a Master's in International Relations (Thesis pending) from the Institute of International Relations (IRI, UNLP), and is currently pursuing a Master's in Law and Economics (UTDT).

Antonio Sanchez

Systems Architect and Geographic information systems Specialist

Antonio Sanchez brings over a decade of experience in developing agricultural monitoring systems aimed at improving global food security resilience and enhancing market transparency.

He has contributed to key initiatives, including the GEOGLAM Crop Monitor, helping to advance sustainable agricultural practices and promote informed decision-making. He has focused his career on fostering food security, capacity building, and sustainable development across the globe. He is currently lead of NASA Harvest for Latin America.

Antonio holds a master’s degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Maryland and he is also a Computer Engineer graduated from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, with a strong background in software development, systems management, and data analysis. He has experience in designing innovative technological solutions, excelling at optimizing processes and improving operational efficiency in multidisciplinary projects. His approach combines advanced technical skills with strategic vision, adapting to market needs and technological advancements.

Daniela Morra

Environmental and social Safeguards Specialist

Daniela brings 15 years of experience in social and environmental due diligence and performance management, providing technical advice to lending operations in key sectors such as agriculture, transport, and energy. Her work spans across Southern Africa, Asia, and Central and South America, highlighting her global perspective and adaptability.Her expertise encompasses environmental and social legal compliance with international frameworks, including the effective use of country systems, physical and economic resettlement, and grievance redress mechanisms. She consistently develops and delivers capacity-building initiatives to improve the understanding and implementation of social and environmental requirements with a risk-based approach. Daniela holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Economics from Bocconi University and has a robust career history with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and the United Nations. Her career is marked by a steadfast commitment to sustainable development and advancing environmental and social safeguards in international projects.
